Kiwinova Terms
Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to Kiwinova users, advertisers, business profile owners and visitors using the marketplace across New Zealand and Australia.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Kiwinova, browsing listings, posting ads, registering a business profile, contacting users or purchasing promotional placements, you agree to use the platform responsibly and follow these terms.
2. Marketplace Role
Kiwinova provides an online classified marketplace and business hub. We help users publish, discover and promote ads, but we are not a party to transactions between buyers, sellers, employers, job seekers, service providers or customers.
3. User Responsibilities
Users must provide accurate information, choose the correct category, upload appropriate images, use lawful contact details and keep listings up to date. Users must not post fake, unsafe, stolen, illegal, offensive, discriminatory, spam or misleading content.
4. Property, Vehicle, Job and Service Ads
Users are responsible for checking property details, ownership, vehicle history, employment conditions, qualifications, service availability, pricing and all other information before making decisions or payments.
5. Business Profiles
Business users are responsible for their company name, category, location, description, images, contact details and service claims. Kiwinova may adjust, reject or remove profiles that breach platform standards.
6. Paid Promotions
Boosts, sponsored ads and paid placements improve visibility but do not guarantee enquiries, sales, bookings, rankings, traffic or revenue. Paid placements may appear on the homepage, category pages, listing areas, sidebars and Business Hub areas depending on availability.
7. Security and Account Access
Users must keep their account access secure and must not attempt to access admin-only areas, private records, analytics, payment tools, advertising controls or another user's account information without permission.
8. Uploads and Platform Safety
Uploaded images and documents must be safe, relevant and lawful. Kiwinova may reject file types, remove unsafe content, restrict suspicious activity, and protect public pages from unsafe advertising or embedded code.
9. Content Moderation
Kiwinova may remove, edit, hide, reject or restrict content that appears to break these terms, create risk, harm users, damage platform trust, misuse advertising, or conflict with New Zealand or Australian marketplace expectations.
10. Limitation of Responsibility
Users make their own decisions when contacting others, meeting in person, paying deposits, accepting jobs, buying items, booking services or entering agreements. Kiwinova encourages careful verification before completing any transaction.
